AB Prototype A-10 Threaded Barrel for SIG Sauer P320, 10mm, 5.7", no LCI, Blue PVD, .578"-28
This is a new AB Prototype A-10 threaded barrel for the SIG Sauer P320 X-TEN in 10mm AUTO. This precision machined barrel is cut from 416 stainless steel and threaded .578"-28 (standard .45 thread). Tighter-than-factory tolerances, but still a direct replacement barrel for the SIG Sauer P320 X-10. Will work with the P320 X-TEN models in 10mm only or for a custom 10mm P320 build. Also works with aftermarket XTEN (X10) slides, AB Prototype and others. Will NOT work with X5, M17 or other 9mm/.40 full-size (4.7" or 5.0") slides. Drop-in fit for reliability.
The .578"-28 thread is the standard thread for most .45ACP pistol accessories, i.e. suppressors, comps, thread protectors, etc. Our threaded barrels will allow compatibility with most 45 barrel accessories on the market.
Included with our threaded barrels is our thread protector comp. This muzzle device will add a bit of style and performance to your threaded pistol. Six flats make for easy installation. Manufactured in the USA from 1144 Cold Drawn Alloy Steel and Black Nitride (QPQ) coated for improved wear-resistance. Thru bore is .470". Thread protector comes in black only.
Please note this barrel WILL NOT fit X5s and similar P320s in 9mm, .40 or .357SIG. DOES NOT FIT X-Ten COMP (this pistol is designed for a 3.8" barrel only!). THREADED BARRELS ARE NOT LEGAL IN ALL STATES. Please be aware of state laws before ordering/installing.
Includes: 1 AB Prototype A-10 5.7" Threaded Barrel (.578"-28), 10mm (NO LCI CUT), thread protector (black), Blue PVD. Factory grease may be present. No other parts are included.
Installation is available for an additional charge.
All AB Prototype manufactured products offer a limited 1-year warranty to the original purchaser covering defects in material or workmanship and only extend to replacement parts as originally provided and/or installed for the original purchaser. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or coatings. Any unauthorized work, installation, improper or unsafe handling or utilizing non-SAAMI, hand-loaded, reloaded and/or remanufactured ammunition will immediately void this warranty. No other warranties are given or implied.

I really like it!
It fits the form of the gun and looks great. It's a rich blue that has a heat rainbow look in the corners I really like. It changes the recoil from being snappy in your trigger finger to being a smooth solid push in the heel of your palm.

Well made
The fit is good, and the barrel seems well-made. I haven't checked grouping against the oem barrel yet. The finish is not as rich a blue as shown on the site. It has a battle-worn look to the advertised color. That doesn't bother me as I think the rich blue would fade to this color anyway.

Precision Manufacturing!
I haven't put any rounds downrange with this new X-Ten barrel but just received this reminder to review. So for now I'll comment on Fit and Finish. I'm ecstatic to say the milling and the fit on this barrel is perfect. No milling lines, no rough (or crooked!) threads, drops right in and feels perfectly smooth...probably a hair better then the factory barrel (which was no slouch). I'm a big fan of Blue PVD parts, and with this AB barrel I now have three pistols with Blue PVD sprinkled throughout. Note that AB's PVD coating isn't the same color or finish as SIG factory blue PVD or other brands more "True Blue" PVD; AB's coating is more of a beautiful Cobalt Blue into Purple, which no other brand has and is very eye catching. It perfectly matches my other SIG parts that AB has blue PVD coated. The only real negative I have about this barrel, is that the thread protector (which is beautiful work in it's own right) isn't blue PVD as well. If AB ever updates this with a blue PVD thread protector, I'd be the first in line for one!
